Welcome and thank you for choosing Little Einsteins Preschool and Daycare. 

 

Hello, my name is Carolina Naranjo and I am the licensed child-care provider.  My husband, Mario and I have six children. I have been working for private companies including; Kinder Care, for over 10 years and in 2015, I decided to open my own Preschool and Daycare, Little Einsteins.

Little Einsteins Preschool and Daycare is a licensed facility. I provide care and instruction in a comfortable and loving Christian home—a place for your children to be safe, healthy, happy, and to learn. I love children very much and indeed believe that they are our future.  If I can make a positive difference with even one child my life will not be wasted.  I believe that children are best able to learn when they are loved, comfortable, fed nutritious food and have teachers that are very well qualified, educated, and experienced (with big hearts).  Children should be consistently raised by a combined effort of both parents and teachers/child care providers.  This includes loving, cleaning, feeding, correcting behavior, and providing a positive human example.  Children will copy everything we do.  They are very smart and their brains are just waiting for information.  Whatever they see or hear will register in their minds.  We must therefore be sure that we give them the best of ourselves.  One day our roles will be reversed, and our children will be caring for us.

 

I believe that the learning environment must be comfortable, safe and well prepared for the children.  The environment should be inviting with lots of open-ended materials that will help them in sustained play.  Caregivers and teachers can support children’s learning by providing them with plenty of love and patience.  Teachers should be very flexible with their schedule.  Sometimes children are just not ready for the day or not cooperating for some reason.  We should be able to modify the planned curriculum as the need dictates.  The curriculum for young children should include certain “basics” that help children learn.  These include books for reading, art, science, math, language, sensorial materials, practical life and dramatic play.  When planning curriculum for young children it is important to consider multi-cultural ideas and age appropriate themes that interest children.  As appropriate, curriculum for young children should be connected to their culture in a way that it is accepting and promotes diversity.
